Text heard on Sample:

Pasan caballos negros y gente siniestra

Death enters and exits the tavern.
Black horses pass by and sombre folk,
on the deep paths of the guitar.
An odour of salt and of a female's blood
rises from the feverish nardus on the sea shore.

Death enters and exits the tavern, death.
The dagger plunges into the heart
like the blade of a plough into dry earth...

Text: Federico Garcia Lorca (1898-1936)
