Looking Ahead: Pianist Pierre-Laurent Aimard joins the Kuss Quartett to perform a selection of Carter’s works in Essen, Germany (October 18) and Hannover (November 10): Epigrams, Figment IV, Fratribute, Matribute, and Quintet for piano and string quartet.

On October 27, Jeffrey Milarsky and the Axiom New Music Ensemble performs Carter’s Luimen at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall.
